Merthus Bezemer - MD medit
I was born in Rotterdam, Holland and went on to study Business Administration in Rotterdam and Budapest. I started my career as an entrepreneur in Direct Marketing and later in IT.
In 1996 I sold my company to Exact Software and continued to work with them until 2000 as a General Manager for their Eastern European offices.
In 2001, I began working within the e-learning and content management business until I was asked to become the CEO of Alcas Holding in 2005. In 2007, I finalised the transaction between Mood Media and Alcas Holding and now continue to work for Mood Media as the managing director for the Mediterranean Region (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy and Greece). I am also responsible for the Majorcom operation of Mood Media and for Scent Marketing across the group.
I feel the most important growth of our group will come from digital signage networks, especially as we continue to position these networks as attractive propositions for potential advertisers.
